이완교는 경희대학교 음악대학에서 바이올린을 전공으로 학사 학위를 받았으며 홍익대학교에서 예술 석사학위를 받았다.
그의 사진 작업 전시 경력을 간단히 보면, 일본, 미국 및 오스트리아 등지에서 전시를 하였으며, 또한 프랑스 멧츠에서는 부루노 메르시에 와 공동 초청 전시를 통하여 많은 관심을 집중시켰다.

in the Field of Photography
Mr. Yi is bringing
about a new photography culture through a marriage of Western realism and Asian
naturalism

GYEONGGI-DO, SOUTH KOREA, March 7, 2017, Wan-Gyo Yi has been included in Marquis
Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals
profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as
position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are
all taken into account during the selection process.
Backed by many years
of practiced industry experience, Mr. Yi conducts research in modern
photography with expertise in contemporary photography culture. The purpose of
his current studies is to develop a new and contemporary photography culture
that integrates Western realism and Asian naturalism. Mr. Yi believes that
humanity is slowly fading due to the rise of modern material civilization, and
as such, his studies aim to restore and heal human nature by leveraging Eastern
ideologies.
A photography
enthusiast since childhood and a naturally gifted artist, Mr. Yi holds a
Bachelor of Arts in violin from the Kyounghee University School of Music, a
master’s degree, and a Master of Fine Arts from Hongik University. Throughout
his career, he has exhibited his works in various exhibitions across Japan, the
United States and Austria. He also co-exhibited his work with Bruno Mercier in
Metz, France.
